The lovely editor of RDW spotted in Femilia at the LOVING TOUCH, FERNDALE

Our fave Detroit fashionista, Angela, was nice enough to share this lovely pic of her out and about this past weekend!  If anyone remember, this skirt was once a beautiful lace dress from one of our collections in 2007, and definitely needed an update! Voila!

Well, a dream we have had has finally come true.... A lovely gal, originally from Detroit, who now works for the HUBtv, has graced us the opportunity to turn heads in LA.

She will be adorned in a Strapless Drop Waist bustier gown, made of a beautiful Silk Devoure in Copper, and trumpets down to the floor.  Here is a little pic from a past runway that highlighted this breathtaking design...

Exodus is one of Detroit's finest out door dance party locations that Femilia gals in dresses have showed up many of times to shake a ruffle or two ;)  We are collaborating with some wonderful people (Andrew Marke Salon-Rochester Hills and Macomb location, Dj Jenny LeFemme and Matt Aubrey...Special Hosts featuring Jasmine, Jay, and Micheal) this is going to be a memorable evening to celebrate the last Holiday of Summer! Hello world my name is Denae' and I am a new intern with Femilia Couture and I love every minute of it. Especially the ladies I work,with  their so awesome. This past weekend we had a Fashion garage sale and it turned out to be a success. We even had local designers to come and participate as well. Can't wait to do it again. FASHION GARAGE was such a hit, that it must happen again! So we have made the one time event a tradition in and around the Detroit area. So if you missed the first one, you will be happy to hear that it has been added again.

The designers have cleaned out everything, from the studios, attics, trunks basement, garages and life. In effort of promoting a sustainable lifestyle, four local Detroit based designers have come together, to create this one-of-a-kind Trunk show experience.

In fund raising efforts for the designers Five day International Fashion tour; Wound, Peace Love and Spandex, Femilia Couture, and Kelly Lynne designs are creating a unique mini boutique for the day in and behind the Ferndale based, Femilia Showroom. On Saturday, August 14th from 11am-sundown come and support their efforts to promote sustainability and recycle their gently used treasures.

New Intern

Hello everyone I'm Jen (Fashion Design Student/Hairstylist) the newest member to the Femilia Couture family.  Just wanted to say hi & introduce myself.

Interning for the ladies at Femilia is great I'm learning soo much & meeting all kinds of interesting people, there's never a dull moment here!!  Each & everyday is a new learning experience for me!!

The ladies are like family to me & I wish them the best success in the future!!

Also I'm soo happy I can bring my Teacup Poodle Tiffany w/me to Femilia Couture because I hate leaving her home alone.

Things are going great for me right now & I know all of you will see more of me in the future!!

Have to say goodbye for now but I'll be back soon!

We are so excited to announce the big events for the month of August!!! Beyond the usual Wednesday night FASHION FIX @ Bosco in Ferndale....There is a list of up and coming events...

First:::JUST ADDED::::FEMILIA COUTURE will be Judging the particpicipating models at in the Paul Mitchell Institute Annual Student Competition. Femilia is in charge of Judging the model featured in the showcase.  We are excited to see some of the new faces in the local Modeling industry, and support a great event that is giving all the proceeds to an assortment of Charities. The event is hosted by the Emerald Ballroom in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.

****Guerilla Fashion Garage is going to be full of fun, and will be announced by the end of the week!! We are excited to have some new additions since the last one, and the new location will be something chic and interesting =)

We also are preparing for the next phase of our Production and introducing our brand to the global market! Detroit Fashion Alliance will be in full affect after the Labor Day holiday!
