First: TedX DETROIT "The area's leading creators, catalysts, entrepreneurs, artists, technologists, designers, scientists, thinkers and doers will gather on Wednesday, September 29th to share what they are most passionate about — positive ideas for the world from Detroit"
This is a huge Creative Professional Showcase known worldwide as TED X, will be hosted by the Beautiful Detroit Institute of Arts on Wednesday September 29, 2010 from 9am to 6pm. There will be all kinds of local Detroit/Michigan Art Professionals sharing their cool concepts from Industrial greening design, to apparel and other Creative outlets.
THEN--->Femila has been asked to get involved by our friends at 944 MAGAZINE, for their "CHUCKS FOR CHARITY EVENT" held on Friday October 16, 2010. This is a different kind of benefit. All artists have been given a pair of "CHUCK TAYLOR"s kindly donated by Converse (whose Head designer, John Varvatos, has some roots here in Detroit!) Each pair of shoes, will be adorned by each designers creative energies, and auctioned off to raise money for a great cause, the Karmanos Organization!
There are also some more things lined up for the month of October. BIG news being announced this FRIDAY!!! BIG!!!!! Til Then, Ciao!!
